Congratulations to Adekunle Ayomide, a 300 Level Mechanical Engineering student, who has emerged as the National Champion of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Nigeria Public Speaking and Debating Championship!

The finals were held on October 11, 2025, in Akure, Ondo State. Ayomide earned his spot after winning the Oyo State collegiate round two months earlier and ultimately defeated the Northern and Southern representatives. His prizes included a cash award, an award plaque, and a Medal of Excellence.

Ayomide’s victory is a powerful illustration of the excellence that defines LAUTECH students as leaders in their fields.
