A team from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has clinched the top position at the Oyo State Employment Summit held at the International Conference Center, University of Ibadan on 19th of November 2025. For their outstanding performance, the team was awarded a ₦500,000 cash prize and a ₦2 million investment from the Special Adviser to the Oyo State Government.

The team comprises Mubarak Erinfolami and Ajibade Ifeoluwa (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) and Faizat Olubori (Medicine and Surgery, 300 Level). They were mentored by Prof. Tesleem Asafa, Director of the Center for Emerging Skills and Technologies (CEST) at LAUTECH. Their project, AquaVise, is an AI-powered aquafarming solution featuring an advanced wastewater management system aimed at enhancing sustainable fish farming practices.

This achievement not only demonstrates the team’s creativity and commitment but also strengthens LAUTECH’s reputation for excellence in innovation, technology-driven solutions, and impactful contributions to societal development.
