Congratulations to LAUTECH Students on Their Outstanding Performance at the 2025 NexGen Innovation Challenge Grand Finale in London
A hearty congratulations to two exceptional students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) for their remarkable achievement at the Grand Finale of the 2025 NexGen Innovation Challenge.

On Thursday, October 9, 2025, Saka Adetayo Muhammed (Department of Mechanical Engineering) and Bello Abdullahi Adeoye (Department of Electrical Engineering) proudly represented LAUTECH and Oyo state as they presented their groundbreaking innovation before a distinguished panel of global investors at the prestigious Hilton Hotel, Paddington, London.
Prior to this milestone, the duo had led two separate teams that represented Oyo State at the National Level of the 2025 NexGen Innovation Challenge, held on July 9, 2025, in Abuja. Their participation and journey to the grand finale were fully sponsored by the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI). Team One includes Saka Muhammed, Olusanya Ayodeji, and Ojoawo Rosemary. Team Two is made up of Amoo Taiwo, Bello Abdullahi, Emmanuel Lafenwa and Azeez Fatiha.
LAUTECH community celebrates this outstanding accomplishment and extends sincere appreciation to the University Management for their unwavering support, as well as to the Director of the Centre for Emerging Skills and Technologies (CEST), Prof. Tesleem Asafa, who served as a mentor and guide to the teams throughout their innovation journey.
