In a remarkable display of eloquence and intellect, LAUTECH Medical School has been crowned the champion of the Nigerian Medical Students’ Association (NIMSA) South-West Regional Debate Competition. The event, hosted at the Lagos State University College of Medicine (LASUCOM) on October 24th, 2025, saw Team LAUTECH triumph over 16 other medical schools from across the region.

Representing LAUTECH with exceptional skill and composure were Olasunkanmi Oyewusi (400 Level) and Olubori Faizat (300 Level), both dedicated members of the LAUTECH Medical Students Literary and Debating Society.
