Adetunji Abdullahi Ademola (Software Engineer) of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology and Lawal Abdulsalam (Machine Learning Engineer) of Obafemi Awolowo University won the DSN x BLUECHIP TECHNOLOGIES LLM AGENT CHALLENGE DATA & AI SUMMIT HACKATHON 3.0 held in Lagos on June 9, 2026. The duo developed a system, NaijaTaste.

NaijaTaste is a food discovery and review simulation system. It understands how Nigerians write, speak, and make food decisions including Nigerian Pidgin English, Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo and local food culture. It has two core features:  A Review Simulator that predicts how a specific Nigerian user would review a restaurant, in their own voice and language style. And a recommendation Engine that suggests real Nigerian restaurants tailored to a user's taste, with geolocation-aware results and WhatsApp integration.
